Meet Some of our Dogs at the Ajijic Dog Shelter
All the dogs at the ranch are healthy, have had their shots and been spayed/neutered.

Frodo, a redbone Coon Hound mix, pretty boy, quiet and well behaved, he appears to be young, perhaps around one year. He is a very handsome fellow. ADOPTED! Male Cocker Spaniel, he came from a home, was debarked. He is a nice little fellow, well behaved, and is now up for adoption. Very sweet, cute little girls who need a home, either together or separately.	Hija is a female spayed Pit Bull mix. She came to the ranch with an adult male and female as well as another puppy. Nicknamed “the family’, three of these live together in one kennel. Hija is learning to like going for walks Hija is a little shy, but will make someone an excellent pet. ADOPTED! Henry, a sad little boy who probably needs a home before any other at the ranch. He is so depressed being there and goes down a little more each day. He needs attention and love so desperately, he will be someone's excellent pet and friend. If not adoption, a foster home would be wonderful for him.
ADOPTED! Dulce is a lovely, sweet, smart, healthy, spayed German Shepard cross about 1 year old. She gets along well with other dogs. Name is Dulce. Please contact: Cristina Baron (376) 766-3574 or cubacris5@hotmail.com.	Joe, looking for a family, young neutered male who walks well on a leash.
Buster is a friendly medium size neutered male.  He needs a walled in yard.	Trixie, a female rough coated terrier mix. Sweet and loving dog that walks well on a leash.
Clark is a young, energetic neutered male from Guadalajara. Handsome with a black and tan coat, he is medium in stature.. He came with Lois, a female mix he had been living with.	Twiggy is an older girl who would love to be part of your family. She will be happy to lie at your feet in the evening, go for long walks during the day and just spend time with you. She gets along well with other dogs..
Hero is a Brown and White Male. He was found on Ninoes Heroes in Chapala, hence his name. He was a starving street dog and very thankful to come to the ranch where he was assured of his "daily bread". He is a good dog, full of energy and will make someone a good pet.	Shep is a male medium border collie mix. He loves to go for walks and is a gentleman on the leash. He likes to spend time with his human friends. He is a quiet dog and loves to lie in the sun. Shep gets along with other dogs.
Lucia is a female medium size spayed rough coated white Terrier mix of medium size. She is a quiet girl who loves to go for walks and  lie in the sun. Lucia will make a fine companion.	Talia is a pretty spayed black female who loves people and other dogs. She is playful and happy, loves to take walks and will make a great addition to a family
Chucky is a handsome long-legged, neutered male Dachshund mix. He is a small dog, loves to go for walks, gets along with other dogs and likes people. Chucky would not do well with young children or a noisy home. He has a laid back attitude and will make a very good pet.	Bruno, a tan male mastiff mix who is friendly and well behaved.
ADOPTED! Hansen, a black Great Dane mix, he is also well behaved but more dominant than Jansen. They are very possibly brothers. Both are good looking boys.	ADOPTED! Jansen, who is a male Harlequin Great Dane, (German Mastiff) mix, a gorgeous and well behaved boy who didn't pull on the leash..
ADOPTED! Zora is a pretty spayed female Australian Cattle Dog.	Rocket is a handsome neutered white and tan retriever mix who was found at the airport on the 4th of July. He is a very energetic and active boy and loves to go for walks. Rocket will make a good watch dog and an excellent companion.
Martha is a Female Greyhound mix. She is friendly, gets along with other dogs at the ranch and has a very nice personality.	Cookie is a cute spayed part Basset Hound mix.  She is as short and long as a Basset.  Cookie has a very nice personality and will make a great companion and watch dog. She loves to walk on a leash.
Lady is a spayed retriever mix with lots of personality. She is lively and friendly, loves people as well as other dogs, likes to play, and walks well on the leash. Lady will make an excellent family pet.	Rowdy is an energetic neutered red, male mix of medium to large size.  He was tied with a wire which had grown into his neck and needed to be surgically removed. He is still trusting of humans and will make a good pet and protector.
Bilbo, an Apricot Shepherd mix. Bilbo walks very quietly on leash, is a very striking looking and well behaved boy.	Oso, a black male Husky. Friendly and well behaved .
Francesa is a mini pincher mix.  She is young, spayed and very friendly	Foxy is a female tan shepard mix and likes to lounge in the sun.  She is very affectionate.
Manche is some variation of a pointer.  Neutered and a bit too slender, Manche could use a few more pounds on his frame.  This young male has a lot of energy and would make a wonderful family dog.	Sam is a friendly young pit bull mix. We found him tied to the gate at the ranch and he is looking for a forever home.
ADOPTED! Petunia is a relaxed mature spayed female.  She is friendly and will make a very good companion.	ADOPTED! Dolly is a spayed light yellow lab mix.
Camp is a handsome, middle aged, friendly, neutered male.  He is looking for a forever home where he can become a good friend to someone.	Maggie Mae is a black young, energetic fluffy spayed female.  She is a rough coated terrier mix and could be a scotttish terrier mix. She walks well on a leash and loves people.
Blaze managed to find the ranch all by himself.  He is a young friendly neutered male and full of personality and is looking for a forever home.
